Louise Jameson's 'From Women's Eyes'
Show Only Tickets Available
The moment we announced Louise Jameson was coming to Whovention, the most popular question quickly became whether Louise would be performing one of her one-woman shows during the weekend.
Some of you may remember Louise performed Pulling Faces during her last very short visit to Sydney in 2011. This time, Louise is bringing her new show From Women's Eyes, reminiscing on her career on stage and screen, from Shakespeare to Eastenders. And just for Whovention, she's upping the Doctor Who content. Consider this the 'Whovention Special Edition'.
The show will take place, appropriately enough, on opening night - Friday, February 22nd straight after the special Whovention Tavern meetup. Tavern (and Whovention registrations) kicks off at 5:30pm and Louise will come on stage some time after 9:00pm. The show runs for approximately one hour.
From Women's Eyes
Louise left RADA in 1971 with the Shakespeare Memorial Prize and has had a love affair with the bard ever since. From Women’s Eyes is her Desert Island Disc choices from the canon which she will happily share with you alongside her very personal memories of the last 40 years. She has travelled the world, working in the best and the worst conditions that this profession has to offer. From Shakespeare to Soap, from the National to Stand up. A life in performance...
Limited Tickets Available
The show is of course included with a Whovention weekend ticket, making it extremely good value when you consider the full range of other activities, free autographs and exclusive extras happening across two and a half days.
Can't make it for the whole weekend but keen for a great Friday night? A limited number of 'Show Only' tickets are available, including access to Whovention Tavern for pre-show drinkies as well as the From Women's Eyes show.
